Connect Through Conversation: Go Fish with a Twist!

One of our Interfaith Picnic partners, Social Wellness Action Now (SWAN), invites you to its inaugural community gathering, a fun afternoon designed to spark connection across religious and cultural backgrounds.

Go Fish with a Twist! takes the familiar card game and adds a unique element: before asking another player for a card, you'll ask a thoughtful question about their life, faith, culture, or experiences. Suggested conversation prompts will be available, making it easy for everyone to participate, whether you're meeting new people or reconnecting with old friends.

SWAN is a growing community of individuals from diverse religious, cultural, and personal backgrounds who have been coming together over the past year around a shared vision: demonstrating how disagreeing respectfully can inspire greater harmony across ideas, cultures, and countries. Their hope is to foster unity that contributes to the advancement of our global community, a more livable world, and ultimately, the oneness of humanity.
